What a location! Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, but close enough to its convenience, while giving us the thing we dreamed of: unspoiled ocean views. The staff were exceptional - couldn’t have been more accommodating (and very punctual!). When we arrived, the aircon in our room wasn’t working. When the handy person mentioned they’d need an electrician to come, the staff didn’t hesitate to offer us another room and it felt nice that we didn’t have to ask. We noticed tradespeople walking to our old room the next day - a good sign that the resort sees to issues straight away. Our new room was surprisingly quiet from traffic and people noise. Couldn’t hear any families with crying kids or anything like that - it seems the resort’s family-sized appartments are deliberately separate from the beachfront apartments. I did struggle with how loud the high tide was during the night - something I should have anticipated as a light sleeper. The staff cleaned the room and changed the towels daily, and made a nice touch with fresh flowers in the bathroom everyday too. The resort’s reception staff were a really great team on hand for anything we needed. From arranging taxis, to booking us in for group day trips with tour companies, to connecting us with local drivers onsite for private day trips (recommend traveling with Pako, Alex or Thomas). Reception were very warm and welcoming, and went above and beyond when I was unwell.

Both restaurants were fantastic. Cafe villa, the ambience was perfect, beautifully lit in the evening, the food presented was special. In the morning was just as good as we chose our meal from a menu, again presented well. The staff were attentive. The Three pigs is more relaxed and we enjoyed the Tusker beer and the food was also great. All of the staff were friendly, the reception went out of their way to help. The housekeeping staff so friendly. We loved that we could swim in the pool and a short walk away swim in the sea. There are taxis,T at the front of the reg. They are more expensive, however if you want comfort, they have aircon and are usually newer. Buses have a B in front, they are a lot cheaper, and rickety. We used the buses a lot. Both can be flagged down outside, and come regularly. The whole stay was relaxing. We took some books and toys with us for the local children, they were very grateful.

Both restaurants on site were lovely, also an easy walk to another resort further down the street for the free Friday night fire show. We booked a 2 hour spa treatment on site in a little hut on the water which was really enjoyable and cost a bit more than going off site (800VT more approx) but given its 150 one way on the bus its just so much easier and relaxing. There is a primitive little shop across the street to pick up basics but if you want to self cater you do need to go to the supermarket. We had an ocean view which was was lovely, the snorkelling was really good and right out the front. Breakfast is a la carte, had lots of options, the servings are large and the food tasted really good and available from 7am to 11am.

We loved our stay at the Nasama. The resort is very well maintained, the rooms were so clean, the staff are fantastic and the onsite restaurants (Cafe Vila and 3 pigs) are the best. It's worth having breakfast included in your room price as Cafe Vila has the best menu, weekly specials and delicious food. We ate there for most of our meals including dinner. It was easy getting on a bus to go in and out of town. The resort also provided some beach/pool toys for my 3 year old to enjoy. The staff are so helpful and genuine, they really go out of their way to make you feel at home and help in anyway. We will certainly be back!

We were staying at Nasama when the earthquake struck, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests. They provided food, water, shelter, and the care we needed during that challenging time. Both before and after the event, the service and hospitality were exceptional—truly five-star in every way. This resort has it all: beautiful, authentic facilities, an amazing team, delicious food and drinks, and a prime location that makes it easy to access island tours and excursions without long travel times. I can’t recommend it highly enough!
